    Our Buying Process

    Buy in Four Easy Steps with Muir Homes

    Buying a new home is an exciting time, but there’s a lot to keep in mind and consider. We’ve compiled our step-by-step guide to show you the process and tell you what you need to do, and when.

    1. Reservation

    You have your Application in Principle from the bank (AIP) and pick your favourite home, the reservation paperwork is complete and you have paid your reservation fee. Your Muir Home is now reserved for you and your journey with Muir Homes begins here.

    2. Personalise your dream home

    Your mortgage application is submitted, checked and approved and you can now personalise your home by choosing your kitchen, tiles any optional extras that you may want.

    3. Mortgage and Missives

    Your appointed solicitor completes title and property checks. Your IFA/Mortgage advisor prepares a full mortgage application. A property valuation is sent to the Admin Agents. Your Solicitor then concludes missives and confirms to the Admin Agent. You will also be given an indicative date of entry at this stage subject to the property being inspected by the council and warranty provider

    4. Settlement

    Everything is now complete and you can now move into your new Muir Home!
